| Who We Be The Club was Originally Founded in 1999 by Chief - Walter Dean, Wildwil - Willie Bailey, twin - Darwin Green, and jay-em - John Michael Walker. What started as weekend riding and trips to Myrtle Beach grew with the rebirth of motorcycling. In 2000 the epidemic of motorcycling grew to a new level and so did the club. As the first sport bike club with a club house on the Westside, 5th Gear was on the move and in 2001 the club came of age. With all things man made, the club experienced growing pains and the club split in half in 2004. The remaining members rallied with the president and worked to rebuild the club and in 2005 The 5th Gear Ridaz were reborn. And so we The 5th Gear Ridaz through hard work and support from every Bike Club, Motor Sport Club, Social Club, Car – Truck – Van Club, and Motorcycle Club proudly celebrated our 9th year in 2008. We thank The Man Upstairs for making this all possible and for keeping us safe in the most dangerous recreation that we all enjoy, we thank our families and we thank all of you. In 2010 The 5th Gear Ridaz will be turning another page in history. we invite you to tighten your helmet strap, get a grip, and enjoy the ride.
